Primary Responsibilities The Community-Engaged Sustainability Project Manager will work as an integral member of SCoRE’s small and deeply collaborative team to carry out the following responsibilities: 1. Jointly manage or support management of SCoRE’s major grant-funded community benefits projects (such as the Southeast Direct Air Capture Hub, for which SCoRE will serve as the CBP-Community Benefits Plan lead). 2. Manage our multi-stakeholder SDG education network, RCE Greater Atlanta, affiliated with United Nations University. 3. Jointly manage and support faculty/partner community-engaged research training programs. 4. Identify, co-manage, and contribute to efforts to obtain grants and other types of financial support for SCoRE’s community-engaged sustainability research, education, and community benefit projects and programs. (Continuing this position is contingent on receiving additional funds in the future to cover salary and manager will be expected to help raise those funds.)Qualifications
We seek a creative team member committed to collaborative learning and engagement who will bring joy and excitement to the work of connecting universities with communities to effect social and environmental change. Minimal requirements include: • A Master’s degree in any discipline relevant to community-engaged sustainability research, education, or related fields, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree. Preferred requirements include: • Experience designing and leading or supporting university-community partnerships. • Experience related to sustainable technologies. • A successful track record
